Tết Tết Tết
Tết Tết Tết is a brand under Studio Cohe that offers evolving collections of conceptual lucky envelopes every Lunar New Year. Designed by studio artists, each set of envelopes focuses on a specific theme of Lunar New Year to honor Vietnamese traditions.
For 2021, I designed two sets: Five-Fruit Tray and Buffalo Calves.

Five-Fruit Tray
The five-fruit tray (Mâm ngũ quả) on the ancestral altar during Tết holiday represents blessings bestowed upon humanity by Heaven and Earth. It is also a display of gratitude towards one's ancestors and a symbol of hope for prosperity. The selection of fruits for the tray varies across different regions, but I chose 6 popular choices to illustrate this set.
Buffalo Calves
As a tribute to the 2021 zodiac animal, I collaborated with illustrator Minh Phuong to design some cute calves that would (hopefully) bring kids extra joy on top of getting lucky money.
