Dakota Nguyen hates typing in third person. But she enjoys cross-pollinating creative disciplines, facilitating sustainable systems, and collaborating for impact.
Dakota is currently the Art Director at Endy and Casper Canada. Her creative direction touches brand systems, web design, media production, omnichannel marketing, retail, packaging, and OOH.
Prior to joining Endy, Dakota was the Art Director at Studio COHE. She directed and designed branding & packaging projects for F&B brands. Some of her clients went on winning awards. Her works were also recognized by the likes of Behance, Monotype Type Trends Report, Mindsparkle Mag. Happy endings.
Dakota received her BFA in Photography Studies & Integrated Digital from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University), where her background in fine arts continues to shape her design sensibilities.
Throughout her career, Dakota has also operated as a freelancer. In her process, design becomes a collaborative space where people can interpret changing conditions and challenge their assumptions about meanings, patterns, and relationships. When she’s not curing cancer with design, Dakota does aerial silks.
